What are LEDAS's regular opening hours?
The clinic is open from 9:00 to 18:00 on its working days, with a lunch break from 12:30 to 13:30 . During lunch, reception and treatment rooms pause, so plan to arrive either before 12:30 or after 13:30 if you have a flexible appointment.
Working days include weekdays, most Saturdays and public holidays. Because clinic schedules sometimes change, the clinic asks every patient to confirm the time by phone or with the international coordinator before travelling.
Which days is the clinic closed?
- Every Sunday.
- The second Wednesday of each month.
- The second Saturday of each month.
To find the second Wednesday or Saturday, count from the first of that month. For example, if the month starts on a Thursday, the first Saturday is the 3rd and the second Saturday is the 10th.
Is LEDAS open on public holidays?
Yes. Unlike many clinics in Korea, LEDAS opens on public holidays. This can be convenient for working patients and for visitors whose trips fall over a holiday. Because holiday staffing can vary, always call ahead to check.
When is the best time to book?
For a first visit
Your first visit includes a consultation and a duplex ultrasound of about 15–20 minutes. Morning appointments give you time to ask questions and, if appropriate, discuss scheduling treatment.
For treatment day
Treatment is same-day. After the procedure you are monitored, walk with the nurses and learn how to wear compression stockings before discharge, so you should allow time for the whole process. Your coordinator will suggest an arrival time. The steps are described in the treatment process .
Leg symptoms and time of day
Swelling and heaviness from varicose veins usually get worse as the day goes on. Either time is fine for the ultrasound, which is done standing to show backward flow clearly. Mention when your symptoms are worst.
How can international patients contact LEDAS outside opening hours?
For overseas patients, LEDAS lists English real-time consultation on +82-70-4895-5086, and you can also email kbjledaspm@gmail.com or use the online consultation form at any time. Remember Korea's time zone (KST, UTC+9) when planning a call from abroad.
What if I have an urgent problem when the clinic is closed?
LEDAS is an outpatient clinic, not an emergency department. If you have sudden chest pain, shortness of breath, coughing blood, or a leg that becomes suddenly swollen, hot and painful , call 119 in Korea or go to the nearest emergency room. These may be signs of a blood clot. For non-urgent questions after treatment, contact the clinic when it next opens, and see aftercare instructions and side effects and risks .
