What is a LEDAS remote consultation center?
A remote consultation center is a partner location in another country that acts as a bridge between you and LEDAS in Busan. Instead of trying to arrange everything from a distance on your own, you can talk to people nearby who know how LEDAS works and can put you in live contact with the clinic.
The centers do not replace the examination in Busan. Varicose vein treatment at LEDAS is always planned after a duplex ultrasound performed at the clinic. What the centers do is make the steps before and after that visit easier.
Which countries have LEDAS consultation centers?
LEDAS works with 12 centers across seven countries:
- Mongolia – see patients from Mongolia
- Russia – see patients from Russia
- Kuwait – see patients from Kuwait and the Gulf
- Kazakhstan – see patients from Kazakhstan
- Vietnam – see patients from Vietnam
- China – see patients from China
- Kyrgyzstan – see patients from Kyrgyzstan
In 2026 LEDAS also began a partnership with Renmedes clinic in Taiwan. For centre addresses and contact details in your country, please ask the International Healthcare Center, which can direct you to the nearest one.
How does a remote consultation work?
- Get in touch. Contact a center in your country, or contact LEDAS directly and ask to be connected.
- Learn about treatment. The center explains the LEDAS approach (EVLT, ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy and sclerotherapy under local anesthesia, with same-day discharge) and what aftercare involves.
- Share your information. The center helps you send your symptoms, history, photos and any existing reports to Busan.
- Live communication. The center connects you with the LEDAS physician and International Healthcare Center so you can ask questions.
- Prepare your journey. You get help with planning dates, travel and documents. See medical visa and hotel and flight booking .
How do the centers help after treatment?
Varicose veins are a chronic condition, and LEDAS recommends follow-up ultrasound every 1–2 years or whenever you visit Korea. After you return home, the centers can help you stay connected with the clinic, pass on questions and exchange records. See follow-up after you return home .
What if there is no center in my country?
You can still be treated at LEDAS. Use the online consultation , email kbjledaspm@gmail.com or call the international line on +82-70-4895-5086. International coordinators interpret in English, Russian and Chinese and can arrange other languages. See international patient center .
Important limits of remote consultation
- A remote consultation cannot diagnose varicose veins. Diagnosis needs a duplex ultrasound.
- Your exact treatment plan and quote are confirmed only after the ultrasound in Busan.
- If you have urgent symptoms, such as sudden one-sided leg swelling and pain, chest pain or breathlessness, seek local emergency care immediately.
