What is the LEDAS partner network?
The LEDAS partner network is a group of remote consultation centers and partner clinics outside Korea. They act as a local bridge between you and the clinic in Busan. Instead of making all arrangements from a distance, you can get information, share your records and ask questions closer to home, in a familiar setting. The network connects to the LEDAS International Patient Center in Busan, where coordinators manage your visit.
Which countries have LEDAS consultation centers?
LEDAS has 12 remote consultation centers across seven countries:
- Mongolia — see patients from Mongolia
- Russia — see patients from Russia
- Kuwait — see patients from Kuwait and the Gulf
- Kazakhstan — see patients from Kazakhstan
- Vietnam
- China
- Kyrgyzstan
In 2026 LEDAS also began a partnership with Renmedes clinic in Taiwan. Contact a coordinator to find the center nearest to you, as locations may change over time.
What does a remote consultation center do?
Each center supports you before and after your trip to Busan through live communication with the clinic. In practice, that includes:
- Introducing the treatment: explaining how LEDAS diagnoses and treats varicose veins, and what aftercare involves.
- Connecting you with the clinic: linking you, Dr. Kim Byoung Joon and the International Center.
- Sharing medical records: helping you send previous scans, reports and medication lists in advance.
- Preparing your journey: guidance on what to expect, what to bring and how long to plan to stay.
- Supporting follow-up: staying in touch after treatment and helping you plan your next check-up.

Can I be diagnosed at a partner center?
Partner centers help you prepare, but your diagnosis and treatment plan are made in Busan. LEDAS bases every decision on a standing duplex ultrasound performed by Dr. Kim. Records shared in advance help the doctor understand your history and plan your visit, and your exact quote is given after the ultrasound in Busan.
How does the network help after I go home?
Varicose veins are a chronic condition, and new reflux can develop over time. LEDAS recommends a follow-up ultrasound every 1–2 years, or whenever an overseas patient visits Korea. Your coordinator and local partner keep in touch, pass on questions to the doctor and help you schedule return visits under the relapse prevention program . Read follow-up after you return home .
Why does a partner network matter for medical travel?
Travelling for treatment is easier when you have someone to ask before you go and someone to contact when you return. The network reduces uncertainty, helps you arrive prepared, and keeps the connection with your treating doctor after you leave Korea. It is one reason LEDAS was recognized with the Prime Minister's Citation for Global Healthcare in 2023.
